The College of Medical and Health Technology held its second council meeting for the 2025-2026 academic year, chaired by the Dean of the College of Medical and Health Technology , Prof. Dr. Fadhel Ismail Sharad, and attended by council members on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.
The meeting discussed a number of academic and administrative topics : newly developed equipment at the college , a review of the vision and mission of the new departments, and responding to the student groups on Telegram. The meeting also discussed curriculum updates and academic accreditation requirements for the Medical Laboratory Technology Department.
The council also discussed ongoing preparations for the scientific conference of the conference scheduled for early next year and discussed ways to enhance cooperation between academic departments and administrative units to ensure smooth academic and administrative work, contributing to raising performance and achieving the college's goals.
The meeting resulted in several important recommendations, most notably expediting equipment preparation procedures, completing the vision and mission for the new departments, assigning external lecturers, regular response to the student groups, which ensures the Curriculum Committee continues its work, and forming a special committee to prepare for the upcoming university conference.
