The Department of Medical Laboratory Technology at the College of Medical and Health Technology organized a scientific symposium : "Violence and Intellectual Extremism." Dr. Muhammad Saeed Salman Hassan presented the symposium on Monday, 13 October 2025, in the presence of a number of professors and students.
The symposium analyzed the phenomenon of intellectual extremism and its social and psychological causes, highlighting its dangers to individuals and society, and emphasizing the need to enhance intellectual awareness among young people and protect them from extremist ideology.
The symposium recommended intensifying similar awareness lectures and encouraging professors to discuss these phenomena in classrooms, which would contribute to spreading a culture of tolerance and moderation within the academic community.
