The Deanship of the College of Dentistry at University of Alkafeel held a Council meeting on Monday, October 13, 2025, chaired by Asst. Prof. Dr. Karim Maktouf Attia Alghanim, Dean of the College. The meeting discussed key academic and administrative issues as part of ongoing development plans and was attended by Council members, who discussed ways to advance and expand scientific research within the College. They also discussed mechanisms to improve academic performance and enhance the quality of education to meet the requirements of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. During the meeting, the Dean emphasized the importance of strengthening the role of the College in serving the community through volunteer and awareness programs and monitoring student attendance in classrooms and educational clinics to ensure the highest levels of discipline and academic responsibility.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Council issued a set of recommendations : supporting scientific publishing in reputable journals, documenting community activities, enhancing student discipline, and investing in the College strengths, which will contribute to consolidating its academic position among its peers in dental colleges in Iraq.
