The Department of Medical Laboratory Technologies at the College of Medical and Health Technologies, University of Alkafeel , held a meeting of Attendance Committee on Monday, October 20, 2025, in the presence of the Head of the Department, the Department Rapporteur, the Head of the Attendance Committee, and the members.
The meeting discussed mechanisms for enhancing adherence to official attendance and monitoring cases of absence. The Head of the Department emphasized the importance of active attendance and academic discipline, and the necessity of applying university regulations and instructions to contribute to raising the academic level of the students.
The Department coordinator and the Head of the Committee also addressed the administrative and organizational aspects related to monitoring absences, stressing the importance of continuous communication with students and activating preventive measures to reduce the rate of absence .
The meeting concluded with several recommendations calling for intensified periodic monitoring of attendance and raising their awareness of the importance of adhering to attendance as part of responsible university behavior, thus ensuring a disciplined learning environment characterized by cooperation and mutual respect.
