The Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation at University of Alkafeel organized a distinguished guidance lecture on Wednesday, 22 October 2025, presented by educational Counsl. Kawthar Alawi Kamil, on the concept of personal independence and maturity.
The lecture addressed the importance of individuals dependent on themselves in making decisions and assuming responsibilities, clarifying that independence does not mean isolation, but rather a midpoint between personal freedom and positive interaction with society in a healthy manner.
The counselor emphasized that independence is a fundamental step in building a strong personality capable of facing challenges with confidence, stressing that personal maturity begins with self-awareness and the ability to make the right choices responsibly.
