Under the patronage of the President of University of Alkafeel , Prof.Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, and in cooperation with Glorious Quran Institute in Najaf Al-Ashraf, pertinent to  Holy Abbas Shrine, the Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation  at University of Alkafeel  held an awareness and cultural seminar :  " Fiqh for University Students " on the occasion of the blessed anniversary of the birth of Seida. Zainab Al-Kubra (peace be upon her) on Monday, October 27, 2025.

    The seminar was presented by Sheikh.  Zaman Al-Hasnawi, who began his talk by discussing the life and scholarly status of Seida.  Zainab (peace be upon her), citing the words of Imam Al-Sajjad (peace be upon him): "By the grace of Allah , you are knowledgeable without being taught, and understanding without being instructed." He used this statement as an introduction to discussing the importance of knowledge in building individuals and society, explaining that Islam gives great importance to seeking knowledge and encouraging learners to broaden their horizons in all fields beneficial to humanity.

     His Eminence elaborates that Islam is not limited to religious sciences only, but includes every science that contributes to serving humanity and society, as Allah the Almighty say : “Allah will raise those who believe among you and those who were given knowledge, in degrees.” The seminar included discussion sessions and open dialogues with the students, during which His Eminence answered their questions and inquiries. The event also featured a cultural Quranic competition, with encouraging prizes awarded to the participants, in an atmosphere filled with faith, knowledge, and joy on this blessed occasion.

     At the conclusion of the seminar, Asst.Prof.Dr. Hussam Ali Hassan Al-Abadi, Director of the Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation , expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Eminence Sheikh. Al-Hasnawi for his enriching lecture and to the professors and students for their interaction and contribution to the success of this activity, which embodies the university  mission in instilling moral values and enhancing scientific and religious awareness among its students.
