The Guidance Committee in the Department of Medical and Health Laboratory Technologies held its regular meeting on Monday, 27 October 2025, to discuss mechanisms for developing the guidance process and raising student awareness in accordance with approved guidelines.
The meeting addressed the importance of guiding students towards ethical and Islamic values, promoting positive behavior, and raising student awareness of contemporary social risks: drugs, smoking, and unrestrained freedoms, while emphasizing respect for others and their opinions.
The attendees stressed the role of the department graduates in serving the community, in issues of health and profession, and adhering to educational regulations inside and outside the university, motivating students to actively participate in lectures and practical classes to enhance their applied skills.
The meeting also addressed checking special cases of students and coordinating efforts with the deanship to meet their needs, while encouraging them to express their opinions and suggestions. A WhatsApp communication group was also formed to focus efforts on these cases .
