As part of its training plans, the Clinical Pharmacy Department at the College of Pharmacy organized a scientific discussion for fifth-year students on Tuesday, 28 October 2025, regarding the clinical cases studied during their clinical training.
The discussion was presented by Instructor Ahmed Kadhim Al-Jalihaoui and Clinical Pharmacist Maryam Haider Abdul Redha, under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College, at the College of Medicine, and in the presence of the participating students.
The discussion focused on the role of the clinical pharmacist in the treatment plan, from calculating dosages and evaluating treatment effectiveness to monitoring and preventing side effects, which supports patient safety.
The session resulted in recommendations that support the development of practical skills of the students and reinforce their professional readiness to integrate into the medical team, contributing to improving the quality of pharmaceutical and healthcare services.
