In line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to support the Iraqi artistic and cultural movement, University of Alkafeel  participated in the art festival held at Al-Sabtain University with the participation of a select group of Iraqi artists from various governorates. This participation came as a reinforcement of the university role in supporting the Iraqi Artists Syndicate and encouraging creative talents in the fields of visual arts. The festival included an exhibition of a collection of paintings and artworks that embodied the richness of Iraqi heritage and its cultural and artistic diversity.

      University of Alkafeel  was represented at this festival by Asst.Prof.Dr. Abdul Sahib Saad Jabran, Director of the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Department at the university, who toured the exhibition halls, viewed the participating artworks, and expressed his admiration for the level of creativity displayed by the Iraqi artists.

     In a gesture of appreciation and support for the artists, Dr. Abdul Sahib Saad Jabran purchased a number of the exhibited artworks on behalf of University of Alkafeel , confirming the university approach in supporting the Iraqi artistic and cultural movement and reinforcing its humanitarian and social role in nurturing talent and creativity.

    University representatives affirmed that this participation is in line with University of Alkafeel commitment to engaging in cultural and artistic activities that contribute to highlighting the bright image of authentic Iraqi art and strengthening academic and cultural cooperation with universities and artistic institutions within Iraq.
