The Student Affairs Section at the College of Pharmacy held a meeting on Monday, November 3, 2025, chaired by vice-dean for administrative affairs, Dr. Ali Ahmed Hussein Al-Mayali, to address the issue of students with frequent absences and coordinate with their parents.
The meeting discussed the reasons for frequent absences and established mechanisms for ongoing monitoring. Emphasis was placed on the importance of effective communication with parents and ensuring their adherence to university attendance to maintain their academic performance and achieve academic discipline.
The committee recommended monitoring absences regularly, notifying parents of repeated absences, providing necessary support and guidance to students, and stressing the importance of complying with university regulations to ensure the success of the educational process and academic progress.
