On Sunday, November 2, 2025, the Dean of the College of Dentistry at University of Alkafeel held an academic orientation meeting with fourth-year students to review the progress of their studies and clinical training during the current academic year.
The meeting was chaired by Asst.Prof. Dr. Karim Maktoof Attia Al-Ghanim, Dean of the College, with the participation of Asst.Prof. Dr. Hussein Abu Kalal, vice-dean for administrative affairs, and a group of fourth-year students.
The meeting discussed the most prominent challenges facing students in both clinical and theoretical training, and the mechanisms for improving practical performance. Emphasis was placed on the importance of discipline and adherence to instructions within classrooms and teaching clinics.
The meeting concluded with several recommendations : monitoring the daily student attendance, addressing difficulties in the clinics, enhancing continuous communication with professors, and establishing a weekly plan for evaluating practical performance to ensure the quality of academic training.
