Mourning Session at University of Alkafeel to Consider Values of Patience and Pioneering Role of Women in Chronicle of Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her)

On Wednesday, 5 November 2025, the Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation   at University of Alkafeel  held a commemoration ceremony at the College of Pharmacy to mark the martyrdom anniversary of Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her), the Lady of the Women in the Worlds.

     The ceremony was attended by Prof.Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed al-Dahan, President of University of Alkafeel , several deans, faculty members, staff, and students.

     This commemoration was organized to remember the noble life of Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her), which represents a complete school of faith and humanity, and an eternal message of patience, steadfastness, and defense of principles and the values of truth and justice. She (peace be upon her) served as a sublime role model for women throughout history, establishing the essential role of women in building families, raising generations, and initiating intellectual and social progress that contributes to the advancement and development of society.

    The gathering began with a blessed recitation of ayats from Glorious Quran by Reciter .Ali al-Zubaidi from Glorious Quran Institute of Holy Abbas Shrine in Najaf, in a spiritual atmosphere of reverence and contemplation.

     The lecture, by Dr. Muhib al-A'raji, discussed luminous moments in the life of Lady Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her), highlighting her unique example of faith, wisdom, and courage in defending the Islamic message. He also emphasized the civilizational and ethical legacy she left, from which contemporary society can draw inspiration, particularly in strengthening the status of women and their pioneering role in building a conscious and cohesive generation.

     The attendees actively participated in the gathering, drawing inspiration from the life of the Lady of the Women of the Worlds (peace be upon her), emphasizing the noble values that promote morality, compassion, knowledge, and the pursuit of reform. Then the lecturer concluded the mourning gathering with a prayer for all, stressing the importance of adhering to the path of the Ahlalbayt (peace be upon them) and striving diligently to achieve success and progress in all aspects of life, both academic and professional.
