University of Alkafeel – College of Medical and Health Technologies celebrated World Radiography Day on Sunday, 16 November 2025, by organizing a special exhibition by students of the Radiography Technology Department. The event was attended by the University President, Prof. Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, the Dean of the College, Prof.Dr. Fadhil Ismail Sharad, the Head of the Radiography Technology Department, Prof. Dr. Arif Saleh Baroun, and a number of academic figures and faculty members.
The exhibition featured a range of radiology equipment and technologies : X-ray machines, MRI models, and CT scanners and student-designed illustrative images and models simulating diagnostic cases. The event aimed to raise student awareness of the importance of radiology and its vital role in healthcare, also it provided them with practical experience in using modern medical equipment.
University President Professor Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shahid Al-Dahan wished all students success and commended their efforts in organizing the exhibition and fostering a spirit of innovation and creativity. The top three students in each academic year were also honoured and recognized for their achievements and academic excellence.
