University of Alkafeel concluded its table tennis championship, organized by the Student Activities Section , Sports Activities Department, on Tuesday, 18 November 2025. The tournament featured teams from the College of Engineering Technology and the College of Medical and Health Technologies .
The championship was characterized by a highly competitive atmosphere, marked by sportsmanship and discipline. The players demonstrated high levels of skill, reflecting the college commitment to supporting student activities and nurturing athletic talent.
The tournament concluded with an awards ceremony honoring the participants and recognizing the efforts of the organizers, reflecting the university commitment to promoting a culture of sports among students. The competition revealed : Saif Muhannad, a student from the College of Medical and Health Technologies , Department of Anesthesia Technology, came first , while Ammar Haider Ridha, a student from the College of Engineering Technology, Department of Computer Engineering Technology, did second .
The Asst. Lect. Ali Hatem Faleh Al-Karawi, Head of the Student Activities Section , explained that the aim of these events is to instill a spirit of sportsmanship and university ethics, and to encourage students to actively participate in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research tournaments.
