College of Pharmacy at University of Alkafeel , in cooperation with The Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation , organized an awareness workshop for fifth-year students on Wednesday, 19 November 2025, in the College of Pharmacy hall . The workshop was led by Asst.Prof. Dr. Salem Fayez Kadhim, and attended by faculty members, the Director of The Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation , Asst.Prof. Dr. Hussam Al-Obaidi, and a large number of fifth-year students.
The workshop focused on raising student awareness about the dangers of drugs, methods of prevention, and coping with the pressures of university life. The presenter discussed the impact of drugs on individuals and society, methods of prevention, and the importance of promoting awareness among young people and protecting their academic and social futures.
The workshop witnessed significant interaction from the participants, and the College of Pharmacy expressed its gratitude to The Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation for its fruitful cooperation. The College affirmed its commitment to organizing more awareness and educational activities to raise the student awareness and protect their psychological, social and physical well-being.
