On Saturday, 22 November 2025, Prof.Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahhan, President of University of Alkafeel , Asst. Prof.Dr. Samer Maki Al-Hakak, Dean of the College of Medicine, and Asst. Prof.Dr. Fatima Al-Bakka, Vice-Dean of the College of Medicine for Scientific Affairs, welcomed Prof.Dr. Basim Mohammed Al-Khafaji, a professor of pathology at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan.
The University President welcomed Dr. Al-Khafaji, emphasized the importance of such meetings in developing the educational environment and enhancing the experiences of the students . The two sides discussed several scientific topics that serve the educational process and support students in their academic fields.
This meeting, the second between the two parties, focused on future plans for scientific cooperation and the exchange of expertise to open new horizons for enhancing the quality of medical education at University of Alkafeel .
