Laboratory Safety and Quality Committee at the University of Alkafeel held a meeting on Saturday, 22 November 2025, to discuss mechanisms for implementing Iraqi laboratory quality standards and ways to enhance safety procedures for staff working in educational and research laboratories.
The meeting addressed the possibility of holding specialized training workshops for laboratory staff and technical supervisors to raise their level of laboratory quality awareness and meet international quality and academic accreditation requirements.
The committee will also conduct field visits to the college laboratories to audit compliance with Iraqi quality standards in laboratory work and ensure their optimal application to achieve continuous development and improvement.
