On Sunday,23 November 2025, Lifelong Learning Unit at the College of Pharmacy, University of Alkafeel , organized a scientific workshop : "Environmental and Air Pollution." The workshop was presented by Asst. Prof. Jawad Kadhim Jawad and attended by faculty members and staff.
The workshop addressed the concept of environmental pollution and its types, the air pollution, its sources, and its health and environmental effects. It also discussed the latest methods in monitoring and treatment, to promote a healthy and safe environment in the university community.
The workshop aimed to raise scientific awareness of preventative measures and the application of modern treatment methods, emphasizing the importance of strengthening cooperation between academic departments and environmental institutions, and adopting effective procedures to reduce pollution on campus.
