Lifelong Learning Unit at the College of Pharmacy, University of Alkafeel , organized a scientific seminar : "Eye Health" on Sunday,23 November 2025 , by Asst. Prof.Dr. Salem Fayez Kadhim.
The session addressed the concept of eye health, mechanisms for maintaining eye health, the importance of early disease detection, and the impact of modern lifestyles; excessive screen use and unhealthy lighting , on vision.
The recommendations also included emphasizing the importance of regular eye examinations, reducing the use of electronic devices, raising awareness about healthy lighting, and improving daily habits to prevent and promote eye health on campus.
