University Of Alkafeel
The College of Pharmacy at University of Alkafeel , under the supervision of Lifelong Learning Unit, organized a scientific seminar on Saturday, 22 November 2025, which addressed the classifications of narcotic substances, their natural and manufactured sources, and their mechanisms of action on the nervous system.
The seminar was presented by Prof.Dr. Ahmed Hashim Hussein, who explained psychological ,social and health harms resulting from drug and emphasized the role of educational and health institutions in curbing the spread of these substances.
The seminar highlighted the role of the pharmacist in awareness and prevention, inviting faculty, students, and staff to attend and participate to boost the community awareness of the dangers of drugs, thus contributing to public safety and health.
