University Of Alkafeel
University of Alkafeel held its annual mourning ceremony to commemorate the martyrdom of Seida. Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her) on Monday, 24 November 2025. The ceremony was attended by the University President, Prof.Dr. Nawras Muhammad Shaheed Al-Dahan, deans, faculty members, and a large number of students.
The ceremony began with a recitation of ayats from Quran by Seid. Muhannad Al-Mayali from the Institute of Glorious Quran in Najaf, pertinent to Holy Abbas Shrine, in a spiritual moving atmosphere of tranquility and reverence.
The religious lecture was delivered by His Eminence Sheikh Jaafar al-Dujaili, who highlighted the injustice Seida. al-Zahra (peace be upon her) endured , the most significant events in her life, and the challenges she faced, emphasizing her profound spiritual and historical significance over generations.
The council concluded with a prayer that Allah protect Iraq and its people and inspire society with the values of Seida. Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her) in benevolence and reform, while emphasizing the ongoing commitment to fostering religious and humanitarian awareness among its students.
