University of Alkafeel  Council held its second session for the 2025-2026 academic year, chaired by the University President, Prof.Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed  Al-Dahhan, and attended by the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Prof.Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali, the deans and assistant deans, on Monday, 24 November 2025.

     In the session , there was a number of academic and administrative matters and reviewed plans to develop the educational environment and enhance the quality of programs and curricula. Such aligns with the strategies of the University to serve the community, support the students, and achieving outstanding levels of sustainable academic performance in balanced and well-considered plans .

     The attendees discussed preparations for the Seventh International Conference, will be organized by University of Alkafeel . They emphasized the importance of logistical, technical, and organizational readiness, expanding research invitations, and attracting expertise to ensure the success of the scientific event and solidify the  active international presence of the university in academic forums at various scientific and research levels in the future.

    The deans also stressed the need to boost high-quality participation in the conference, particularly from Iraqi universities and specialized researchers, and to build effective partnerships with international academic institutions. This will strengthen the rank of University of Alkafeel and reinforce its leading role in developing knowledge and scientific research at both the local and international levels.

    University President Prof.Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed  Al-Dahan emphasized the importance of teamwork and expediting preparations according to a strategic vision appropriate to the University of Alkafeel , while adhering to academic standards and supporting scientific contributions to achieve impactful research products that serve the community in the short and long term .
