University Of Alkafeel
On Wednesday, 26 November 2025, University of Alkafeel organized an awareness lecture : "Dealing with Fire and Flammable Materials." The lecture was presented by Engr. Hani Abdul Wahid Hani, Head of the Maintenance Section at the university, and was attended by a number of university staff members.
The speaker addressed the most important guidelines and modern methods for dealing with fires and flammable materials. Then , the different types of fires and how to control them, the various types of fire extinguishers and their uses according to the approved classification were tackled in details . Also he discussed the importance of adhering to public safety procedures in educational institutions and the role of preventative awareness in reducing losses and protecting lives and property.
The lecture witnessed significant interaction from the attendees, who asked questions and engaged in discussions about best practices in emergency situations, emphasizing the importance of such programs in promoting a culture of occupational safety. This lecture is part of a series of awareness activities organized by University of Alkafeel to raise the awareness and improve the preparedness of its members to deal with various emergent cases in the university.
