Women Affairs Section at University of Alkafeel organized an educational lecture on labor law and social security on Monday, 1 December 2025. The lecture, "Labor Law and Social Security," was presented by Prof. Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali, vice-rector for Scientific Affairs, and attended by a number of female university staff members.
The lecture addressed key articles of the Iraqi Labor Law and regulations pertaining to social security, with a focus on the rights and responsibilities of female workers and the mechanisms for dealing with the provisions of the law according to established procedures. The lecturer also highlighted the importance of disseminating legal awareness in institutions, given its role in building a fair work environment and protecting the professional rights of employees.
The session witnessed significant interaction from the attendees, who posed questions and engaged in discussions that helped clarify many legal aspects related to the work environment. The event concluded with expressions of gratitude and appreciation to the lecturer for her valuable scientific and legal presentation.
