The Curriculum Committee at the College of Medicine, University of Alkafeel , held a scientific and academic meeting on Tuesday, 15 December 2025, at the Medical Education Unit of the College. The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Alaa Jumaa, Head of the Medical Education Unit at the College of Medicine, University of Kufa.
The meeting was part of the College efforts to exchange scientific expertise and discuss mechanisms for developing curricula in accordance with modern medical education standards and academic accreditation requirements. The successful experiences in medical education were reviewed, and ways to update curricula and align them with approved learning outcomes were discussed. Inquiries from committee members were also addressed. The meeting recommended leveraging the expertise of the Medical Education Unit at the College of Medicine, University of Kufa, and updating the curricula according to approved national and international standards. It also emphasized the importance of strengthening joint scientific cooperation among medical colleges.
