The Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the College of Pharmacy – University of Alkafeel , in cooperation with the deanery and the Women Affairs Unit, held a religious and cultural gathering on the birth occasion of Seida. Fatima Al-Zahra (peace be upon her) on Tuesday, 16 December 2025.
The gathering was attended by Prof. Dr. Abbas Rashid Al-Moosawi, a member of the Administration Board at Holy Abbas Shrine, Prof.Dr. Nawal Al-Mayali, vice-chancellor for scientific affairs, the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, and the Vice Deans, a number of faculty members, staff, and students.
The event included diverse religious and cultural events that highlighted the exalted status of Seida. Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her), her prophetic and humanitarian role, and reflected the moral values and exemplary conduct in her blessed life. It also contributed to creating a distinctive atmosphere of faith and culture on campus.
The event resulted in religious and cultural awareness among the participants and underscored the importance of commemorating religious occasions for their educational and moral impact on shaping the character of university students. Furthermore, it fostered a spirit of cooperation and teamwork among the departments and created an atmosphere of camaraderie and positive communication between faculty and students. The organizers recommended continuing to hold such events regularly to solidify these noble values and principles.
