On Wednesday, 17 December 2025, the Department of Computer Engineering Technology at the College of Engineering Technology, University of Alkafeel , welcomed first-year students and their families.

The College of Engineering Technology held a welcoming and orientation meeting for new students to introduce them to the university environment and study system, and to foster communication and trust between students and the college administration from the very beginning of the academic year.

     The meeting was opened by the Dean of the College of Engineering Technology, Asst.Prof.Dr. Ali Jassim Al-Amiri, who welcomed the new students and expressed his pleasure at their joining the university community, wishing them success in their academic journey.

     Moreover , the assistant deans reviewed the general study system and learning environment, as well as introducing the facilities and how to utilize them. This provided the new students with a clear understanding of the study methods and available student activities.

    The meeting emphasized the importance of adhering to university regulations and guidelines, along with providing academic and guidance support to new students from the start of the academic year. The college also affirmed its commitment to continuing to organize regular orientation meetings to strengthen communication between students and the college administration.

     Such an activity is part of the ongoing efforts for University of Alkafeel to provide a stimulating and supportive learning environment for its students, reflecting the university dedication to enhancing their academic and social skills from the first day of the academic year.
