The College of Science organized a welcome meeting for newly admitted first-year students and their families on Wednesday, 17 December 2025, as part of its commitment to preparing new students for university life and building a solid academic foundation.
The meeting included welcoming the new students, introducing them to the university and its advanced facilities, introducing the college staff and faculty, outlining the courses, and explaining their key responsibilities towards the students and the educational institution.
The meeting also highlighted the most significant changes students undergo when transitioning from secondary school to tertiary life , university , emphasizing the importance of ethical values, diligence, and hard work in their studies to build a positive and collaborative relationship between students and university staff. The meeting concluded with a brief overview of the Bologna Process, which is adopted by the college, its main components, and the differences that distinguish it from other educational systems.
