On Wednesday, 17 December 2025, the College of Dentistry at University of Alkafeel  held a welcome and orientation meeting for first-year students to begin the 2025-2026 academic year. The meeting was attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Karim Maktoof Attia, Dean of the College, Vice Deans, heads of departments and sections , first-year students and their families.

     The meeting began with a speech by the Dean, who welcomed the new students and their families, expressing his gratitude for their choice of University of Alkafeel  – College of Dentistry and wishing them success in their university studies.

     The meeting included an introductory lecture presented by Dr. Azal Al-Masoudi, which covered the general system of study at the College of Dentistry and the mechanisms of theoretical and practical study. The aim was to clarify the requirements of university studies and help students adapt to the academic environment. Then Asst. Prof. Dr. Hussein Abu Kalal, vice-dean for administrative affairs, also led an internal tour that included all the college facilities to familiarize students with the available services, which contributes to their neat integration into the college.

                This activity aimed to strengthen trust and communication between students and the college administration, providing guidance and academic support from the beginning of the academic year. It also familiarized students with the facilities and how to utilize them, and to encourage their adherence to university regulations. The meeting recommended continuing to organize such orientation and guidance meetings regularly for new students to ensure their successful integration into the academic environment.
