On Tuesday, 20 December 2025, the Computer Engineering Technology Department at the College of Engineering Technology, in cooperation with the Agricultural Division at University of Alkafeel , organized a tree-planting campaign at Sawt Al-Haq School. A group of faculty members, staff, and students participated in the campaign, which was part of the university efforts to serve the community and promote environmental awareness among students.

    The campaign aimed to improve the school environment by increasing green spaces, purifying the air, and providing a healthy and comfortable atmosphere for students. It also aimed to foster a sense of responsibility towards nature, beautify the school, and create a more conducive learning environment.

    The college donated seedlings, and participants contributed to planting and caring . Experiences and knowledge were exchanged between students and faculty, strengthening academic and cultural cooperation between the university and the school.

    The activity yielded positive results, including improving the aesthetic appearance, increasing green spaces, purifying the air, reducing dust, and enhancing the environmental awareness and fostering a spirit of cooperation and responsibility towards nature.

      Based on these findings, it is recommended to continue implementing tree-planting campaigns periodically, involving students in plant care and monitoring their growth, selecting plants suitable for the local environment and requiring minimal water, and organizing awareness campaigns to preserve green spaces in coordination with relevant authorities to support future afforestation projects.
