University of Alkafeel takes hold of a new milestone in its record of academic and institutional successes : for the private universities it is ranked second and seventh for both private and public universities in the 2025 Green Metrics global ranking. It was also ranked among the top 255 universities worldwide.
This remarkable progress reflects the commitment of University of Alkafeel to implementing environmental sustainability standards , adopting effective policies for resource management and the development of green infrastructure, and promoting environmental awareness on campus in the line with the requirements of international rankings.
Professor Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali, vice-chancellor for scientific affairs, affirmed that this achievement was possible by the integrated institutional work at the university in supporting digital transformation, developing technological systems, and harnessing them to serve environmental sustainability projects. Then She added that University of Alkafeel continues to adopt modern technological solutions and dedicate its efforts to improving the university environment and enhancing its ranking internationally , reflecting its vision of building a modern university with academic excellence.
