University Of Alkafeel
The College of Pharmacy at University of Alkafeel organized a scientific training course on diabetes, its types, and diagnostic methods. This course, held on 23 Tuesday December 2025, was part of the university programs to promote health awareness and update the scientific knowledge of students and staff. The course was held in the Medical Sciences Laboratory and presented by Asst. Lect. Murtadha Adnan Muhaysin. In the course, he reviewed the definition of diabetes and its health significance as one of the most prevalent chronic diseases, highlighting its different types, including type 1, type 2, and gestational diabetes.
The course also included a detailed explanation of the mechanisms used in diagnosing diabetes, both laboratory and clinical, along with an explanation of the basic tests and their role in early detection and treatment follow-up, which positively impacts the quality of healthcare. There was a remarkable interaction from the participants through discussion and asking questions, confirming the importance of such courses in developing scientific and practical skills and supporting the academic and professional career in the health field.
