University Of Alkafeel
On Wednesday, 24 December 2025, the Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation at University of Alkafeel organized a ceremony to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali ibn Muhammad al-Hadi (peace be upon them both). The ceremony was held in the Academic Departments Complex building and was attended by the University President, Prof.Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed al-Dahan, the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Prof.Dr. Nawal Ayed al-Mayali, deans, assistant deans, faculty members, and personnel .
The gathering began with a blessed recitation of ayats from Glorious Quran by Reciter. Ali al-Zubaidi from Glorious Quran Institute, pertinent to Holt Abbas Shrine in Najaf. Then , Sheikh Adel al-Jabiri delivered a religious lecture on the key moments in the life of Imam al-Hadi (peace be upon him), highlighting his steadfastness and patience in the face of the injustice of the rulers and their cunning tactics, culminating in his martyrdom by poisoning, as happened with his pure forefathers (peace be upon them).
The gathering concluded with prayers for hastening the reappearance of Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance). The attendees asked Allah for mercy and forgiveness for all believers, both men and women, and recalled the virtues of the Ahlalbayt (peace be upon them) and their role in promoting the values of justice and patience.
