The College of Medicine at University of Alkafeel hosted Prof. Dr. Alam Sher Malik from Malaysia, a professor specializing in medical education and a pediatrician, on Wednesday, 24 December 2025, as part of the efforts of the university to develop the educational process and enhance the efficiency of its teaching staff.
Prof. Dr. Alam Sher Malik delivered a series of high-quality lectures on competency-based medical education and the evaluation of OSCE examinations. These lectures were met with great interest and contributed to strengthening the skills of the faculty in accordance with the latest international standards.
Dr. Alam Bashir Malik expressed his appreciation for the future vision of the college and its focus on scientific research and curriculum development, noting that the College of Medicine at University of Alkafeel is qualified to be among the world-class medical colleges.
For his part, the Dean of the College of Medicine, Asst. Prof.Dr. Samer Makki Al-Hakkak, declared that this visit aimed to benefit from international expertise and enhance the quality of medical education at the university.
