On Sunday, 28 December 2025, the Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation , in cooperation with the College of Medical and Health Technologies at University of Alkafeel , organized an orientation lecture : "Role of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation in Supporting University Students." The lecture, presented by Counsl. Noor Safaa Al-Shaibani, targeted first-year students in the Department of Medical Laboratory Technologies.
The lecture addressed the importance of psychological guidance and educational orientation in the university life and their role in helping students overcome psychological and educational challenges, enhancing their motivation to learn, and developing their personal skills. The lecture also reviewed the responsibilities of the guiding department, how to contact them, and the services they provide to students, in addition to methods for dealing with the most common problems faced by first-year students to achieve psychological balance and academic stability. The event concluded by emphasizing that seeking psychological guidance is a conscious step that reflects the maturity of the student and his commitment to success, then there were an open discussion and Q&A session.
