On Monday, 29 December 2025, the Laboratory Accreditation Committee at the College of Medicine, University of Alkafeel, held its periodic meeting, attended by the committee chairman and members, to discuss the preliminary accreditation report for the laboratories. The meeting focused on assessing the current state of the laboratories and outlining the necessary steps to improve the laboratory environment and enhance the quality of education and practical training in accordance with academic accreditation requirements.
The committee reviewed the most prominent observations and recommendations of the report, emphasizing the importance of regular field visits to the laboratories as a fundamental part of the evaluation process. The committee also stressed the need for continuous monitoring and adherence to scientific and technical standards and safety requirements. Furthermore, the committee discussed its future work plan and the importance of strengthening coordination with laboratory administrators. The committee recommended adopting regular field visits as a primary tool for evaluation and monitoring the provision of necessary resources in the laboratories , and also working to develop laboratory infrastructure and improve the level of practical performance to contribute to achieving academic accreditation requirements according to national and international standards.
