On Monday, 29 December 2025, the Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation  Department at University of Alkafeel  conducted three orientation lectures for first-year students in cooperation with the Colleges of Dentistry, the Medical and Health Technologies, and the College of Science.

The lectures began with a meeting between Asst. Prof. Dr. Hussam Ali Hassan Al-Obaidi, Director of the Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation  Department, and first-year students in the Medical Physics Department at the College of Science. He spoke to them about the importance of university life in building character and developing scientific and social skills, emphasizing the readiness of the department to provide guidance and educational support. He wished them success and offered practical advice on how to make the most of university life, develop thinking and communication skills, and build successful university personalities.

The second lecture,"Individual Freedom and the Societal Interest," was presented by Asst. Lect. Kawthar Kadhim Awda to dentistry students. The main focus fell on promoting the responsible exercise of personal freedom and respect for social and legal values.

The third lecture, "How to Start Your University Journey Successfully," was presented by advisor Noor Safaa Al-Shaibani to students in the Medical Laboratory Technology Department. It included guidance on time management, building healthy relationships, and developing academic and social skills with practical activities for setting goals and engaging positively in the university community. These lectures are part of the efforts for the department to support and guide students to academic and social success.
