On Tuesday, 30 December 2025, the Lifelong Learning Unit at the College of Dentistry, University of Alkafeel , held a lecture : "Miswak: Neglected Prophetic Medical Tradition." The lecture, delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Munadhil Raouf Hadi, targeted faculty members and those who were interested in the medical and dental fields.
The lecture addressed the religious and medical aspects of using miswak, highlighting its preventative and therapeutic benefits for oral and dental health. It was supported by modern scientific evidence and included a comparison between miswak and modern teeth cleaning methods, emphasizing the importance of integrating it into daily hygiene practices. The lecture contributed to raising the health and religious awareness of the attendees and promoting interest in natural preventative practices for oral and dental health.
