The College of Medicine at University of Alkafeel held a workshop : "Annual Performance Evaluation and How to Develop Professional Excellence Plan." The workshop was conducted by Asst. Prof. Dr. Fatima Karim Khalaf, Vice-Dean for Scientific Affairs, on Wednesday, 31 December 2025.
The workshop was to enhance the professional performance, promote a culture of periodic evaluation, and improve the efficiency of academic and administrative staff by understanding the foundations of performance evaluation and developing professional excellence plans.
The workshop addressed the concept of annual performance evaluation and its importance in developing institutional work, focusing on evaluation criteria and tools, analyzing results, and utilizing them to develop performance improvement plans and achieve professional excellence.
The event concluded with a set of important recommendations : adopting periodic evaluation as a fundamental tool for development; activating evaluation results in developing performance improvement plans; and promoting a culture of quality and excellence in the college. There was an emphasis on the importance of continuously applying evaluation principles periodically to ensure the ongoing development of academic and administrative staff and to achieve professional excellence within the college.
