The President of University of Alkafeel , Prof. Dr. Nawras Muhammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, received an academic delegation from the Scottish Ahlalbayt Society from Scotland, United Kingdom, headed by Shabir Beg OBE. The organization is a religious and cultural body working to serve Muslims in Scotland. The meeting took place on Monday, 5 January 2026.
Also present were Professor Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali, Vice-Chancellor for Scientific Affairs; Asst.Prof. Dr. Ahmed Baqir Sharba, Vice-Dean of the College of Science; and Asst.Prof. Dr. Fatima Karim Al-Bakka, Vice-Dean for Scientific Affairs. , College of Medicine
During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance scientific and cultural cooperation and develop academic and research programs to support higher education at the university and strengthen the values of dialogue and knowledge exchange with international universities and organizations.
Here the President of the University emphasized that the commitment of the University of Alkafeel to academic openness and constructive communication with various entities, which enhances the scientific and cultural standing of the university and opens new horizons for international educational partnerships and experiences.
