The Scientific Committee at the College of Dentistry, University of Alkafeel , held its regular meeting on Sunday, 4 January 2026, chaired by Prof. Dr. Haider Dakhil Mohammed, with the attendance of committee members. The meeting addressed promotion procedures and scientific issues related to developing the academic environment in the college.
The committee reviewed the promotion applications of several faculty members and approved forwarding applications that met the required criteria and regulations to the relevant authorities. They also decided to complete the necessary procedures for applications that were incomplete, in accordance with established guidelines. The committee also discussed the scientific issues raised concerning the academic and research work at the college and took the necessary actions regarding them, emphasizing its commitment to the ministerial instructions concerning academic promotions.
This meeting represents the commitment of College of Dentistry to monitoring the progress of academic work and developing scientific and educational performance in a way that serves the best interests of the students and enhances the quality of the educational process at the college.
