Asst.Prof. Dr.  Ali Jaber Al-Dhabawi, Director of the Scientific Affairs Department, University of Alkafeel , held a comprehensive meeting on Wednesday, 31 December  2025, with members of the Scientific Affairs departments from the university . The meeting aimed to monitor the progress of research and enhance scientific performance.

      The meeting addressed the progress of the approved research plan for the current academic year for all the colleges, reviewing the level of advancement achieved in the research included in the plan. It also addressed the most significant challenges facing researchers and ways to overcome them to contribute to achieving the established scientific goals. Also several research-related issues : developing mechanisms for scientific publication, enhancing research quality, supporting researchers, adhering to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and emphasizing the importance of meeting research deadlines, were tackled in details .

     The meeting stressed the commitment of the university to supporting research and raising academic standards, emphasizing the need for collaboration between the academic affairs departments in the colleges and the university administration to ensure that the research plan is implemented according to approved standards, thus contributing to achieving advanced scientific rankings for the university. At the conclusion of the meeting, a set of recommendations was agreed upon to strengthen the research efforts and monitor the progress regularly, in line with the vision of the university and academic goals.
