On Wednesday, 7 January 2026, the College of Medicine at University of Alkafeel held its fourth council meeting for the 2025-2026 academic year. The meeting was chaired by the Dean of the College, Asst. Prof. Dr. Samer Maki Al-Hakak, and attended by council members.
The meeting discussed academic and administrative matters related to the educational process, the college preparations for the Seventh University Conference scheduled for March 28-29, 2026, the review of students' annual progress, the approval of adding Arabic courses to the second year in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and a review of the organizational and technical aspects of the final examinations.
The council recommended enhancing the participation of the college in the Seventh Conference, both scientifically and organizationally, completing students' annual coursework according to the established plans, committing to adding Arabic language courses, adhering to ministerial instructions regarding examination organization, and strengthening cooperation among the college's departments to ensure quality, scientific rigor, and academic accreditation.
The council meeting comes as part of the commitment of the College of Medicine at University of Alkafeel to developing the educational process and organizing academic and administrative work to ensure the highest levels of quality and excellence for students and faculty members.
