As part of the strategy for the University of Alkafeel to hold direct communication with its students and strengthen their confidence in their university journey, University President Prof.Dr. Nawras Muhammed Shaheed Al-Dahan  met with medical freshman students in a meeting wreathed with  a paternal atmosphere and open dialogue on Monday, 12 January 2026.

    The meeting was attended by the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali, the Dean of the College of Medicine, Asst. Prof. Dr. Samer Maki Al-Hakak, and the Vice-Deans for Scientific and Administrative Affairs.

     At the beginning of his remarks, the University President warmly welcomed the students, expressing his pride in their joining the University of Alkafeel  family and emphasizing that the new students represent a truly valuable addition, just as the previous batches demonstrated their academic and ethical excellence.

     Dr. Al-Dahan stresses that the students of the College of Medicine are the future doctors and physicians, urging them to seize the opportunities available in the university, work with a spirit of commitment and self-confidence, and utilize the educational and technological resources provided by the university to achieve their academic and professional goals.

     The university president explained that University of Alkafeel  employs rigorous standards in selecting its teaching staff, based on a clear vision and well-considered plans aimed at building a College of Medicine with an advanced academic level, capable of graduating highly qualified medical professionals possessing knowledge, skills, and professional values.

     Moreover , he emphasized the importance of students having a clear vision from the early stages of their studies, managing their time effectively, and adhering to the correct academic path. He emphasized that success is not achieved at ease , but rather through diligence, perseverance, and continuous effort.

     The meeting included direct interaction with the students, during which the university president listened to their opinions and questions, encouraging them to be frank and clear in raising any concerns or difficulties. He affirmed that the doors of the university presidency and the college deanship are always open to support and assist them.

     At the conclusion of the meeting, the students expressed their happiness at this paternal gathering, appreciating the university administration for its students and affirming their commitment to being in alignment with the trust placed in them and representing University of Alkafeel  with pride and distinction.
