In the presence of the Vice-Chancellor of University of Alkafeel for Scientific Affairs, Prof.Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali, and the university committee, University of Alkafeel announced on Tuesday, 13 January 2026, the adoption of the ELSA Speak system for teaching English using artificial intelligence.
Such a system aims to develop the language skills of the students in an interactive and advanced manner. The application provides innovative learning opportunities that help students improve their pronunciation and comprehension of English with high efficiency.
The university administration affirmed that adopting this system is part of its ongoing efforts to embrace the latest educational technologies and elevate the level of education to keep pace with global developments. Dr. Nawal Al-Mayali pointed out that the use of artificial intelligence in education represents a qualitative step that enables students to acquire advanced language skills that meet the demands of the digital age.
