On Tuesday, 13 January 2026, the Central Library at University of Alkafeel organized an orientation workshop for first-year dentistry students. The workshop aimed to familiarize them with academic research tools and the resources available within the library.
The workshop was led by Lect. Narjis Ghalib, Head of the Central Library, and Ms. Dhikra Abdul Aziz, who provided the students with a detailed explanation of how to use the electronic catalog and access various scientific and academic resources.
The workshop included practical applications to help students make the most of the Central Library services, contributing to the development of their academic research skills and enhancing their ability to access scientific information efficiently and easily.
The head of the Central Library Section emphasized the importance of the workshop in introducing new students to the available resources and the library role as a supportive tool in their educational journey. She noted that such activities enhance the student ability to use the library effectively throughout their university studies.
