As it is committed  for University of Alkafeel to the acts of direct communication with its students and supporting their academic progress, University President Prof.Dr. Nawras Muhammed Shaheed Al-Dahan  met with first-year students from the Colleges of Science and Engineering Technology on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, in a meeting characterized by open dialogue and a friendly atmosphere.

     The meeting was attended by Asst.Prof.Dr. Ali Jassim Al-Amiri, Dean of the College of Engineering Technology, his deputies for scientific and administrative affairs, Asst.Prof. Dr. Ahmed Baqir Sharba, Dean of the College of Science, department heads and all faculty members from both colleges.

    The University President opened the meeting by warmly welcoming the students, expressing his pleasure at their joining the university community and noting that this new batch would contribute to supporting the academic journey, just as previous batches had contributed to enhancing academic and ethical excellence.

    Dr. Al-Dahan pointed out that the students of the two colleges represent the next generation of qualified scientific and technical talent, urging them to utilize all available educational and technical resources and to work with a spirit of commitment and responsibility to achieve their academic and professional goals. He also emphasized the commitment of the university to providing a distinguished faculty selected according to rigorous standards and a strategic vision to ensure the high-quality education, the development of students' scientific and professional skills, and the instilling of ethical values.

    During the meeting, he stressed the importance of having a clear vision from the beginning of their studies, managing their time effectively, and adhering to the correct academic path, emphasizing that excellence is only achieved with diligence, hard work, and perseverance.

    The meeting included an interactive dialogue session where students had the opportunity to ask questions and share their observations. He affirmed that the doors of the university president and the deans of the two colleges are always open to support and assist them in various academic and personal matters.

    The meeting concluded with the students expressing their appreciation for this direct communication, emphasizing their commitment to representing University of Alkafeel  with a high level of dedication and academic excellence.
