The Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation at University of Alkafeel , in cooperation with the College of Medical and Health Technologies, organized an awareness lecture : "Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation for University Students." The lecture targeted first-year students in the Anesthesia Technology Department on Wednesday, January 14, 2026.
The lecture was presented by Counsl. Noor Safaa Al-Shaibani, who addressed the concept of psychological guidance and educational orientation , and explained their importance in supporting students psychologically and educationally, especially in the early stages of university studies. This support contributes to enhancing adjustment to the university environment and building a balanced personality capable of facing academic challenges.
The lecture also addressed the role of the Psychological Guidance Department and how to benefit from its services. It highlighted the most prominent psychological and academic problems that the students may face at the beginning of their university journey to prevent and mitigate their effects. The lecture concluded with an open discussion and Q-A session.
