University of Alkafeel participated in the scientific conference held at the Al-Ameed Educational Group, pertinent to Holy Abbas Shrine, “Building an Islamic Educational Philosophy: Between the Actual and the Potential .” The conference featured a distinguished group of academics and researchers specializing in education.
The university was represented at the conference by Asst.Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ali Aboud Al-Khafaji, Dean of the College of Law, and Asst.Prof. Dr. Ayad Saheb Hammadi, Assistant Director of the Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation at University of Alkafeel . They attended the first session of the three-day conference.
The first session was also attended by the Head of the Higher Education and Scientific Research Commission , Prof.Dr. Abbas Rashid Al-Moosawi , the Head of the Department of Education, Prof.Dr. Hassan Dakhil , a number of faculty members and researchers from the Department of Education and the Universities of Karbala, Al-Ameed, and Al-Kafeel.
The first session included two academic lectures. The first “Education from Islamic Perspective: Philosophy and Foundations,” was presented by Professor Khosrow Bagheri. The second lecture, “ Foundations of Islamic Education: A Comparative Study of Integration and Disintegration ”, was a joint dialogue session between Professor Bagheri and several researchers.
It is worth noting that the conference will continue its work in the coming days, with further academic sessions to deepen the academic discussion and exchange perspectives on building a contemporary Islamic educational philosophy.
