The Lifelong Learning Center at University of Alkafeel held a lecture :“Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure,” delivered by Asst. Lect. Ali Abdul Jalil Naji, Head of the Agriculture Section at the university, on Monday, 19 January 2026.
The lecture addressed the ninth Sustainable Development Goal, explaining the importance of sustainability in infrastructure and its impact on preserving the environment and climate, and the role of manufacturing industries in providing job opportunities and reducing unemployment. It also touched upon the contribution of this goal to mitigating the risks of global warming and promoting sustainable development.
The lecture resulted in raising awareness among participants about the importance of integrating sustainability standards into industrial planning and infrastructure, and encouraging innovative thinking to achieve sustainable and environmentally friendly economic development.
